Jim Sells lives in Charlotte, NC with his lovely wife Suzette. We are the parents of Lauren and Anna, our son-in-law Miguel, and three grandchildren. Our family is central to who we are, and we love spending time together with the girls and their families. We are members of Myers Park UMC and were fortunate to visit Zoe on a mission trip in 2024. We were touched and together with our mission team sponsor a group of young orphans in Kenya. We are both ardent gardeners and our passion for travel makes our retirement very educational and exciting.

Jim retired from Pharr Yarns as President of the High Performance Business in 2021. The business was instrumental in manufacturing and distributing flame resistant and cut resistant textile products. These products protect the lives of those who protect us. Prior to Pharr, he held various executive positions with Burlington Industries Menswear Division manufacturing worsted fabrics for the men’s tailored clothing business and our military. He has been instrumental in starting new businesses throughout his career and had the good fortune to work in corporate America as well as in a dynamic family business. Building successful teams and mentoring colleagues is a passion.

A graduate of the Citadel, his hobbies include playing bridge, golf, and cycling.
