Zoe Empowers Traveling during the Covid Pandemic

This is just an extra note to make sure everyone understands that travel during the ongoing Covid pandemic can be present extra challenges. There are restrictions and requirements by both airlines and countries which are beyond Zoe’s control or influence. These requirements can change quickly as countries adjust their policies. The list below represents some examples of such restrictions and requirements. It is not exhaustive and can (and likely will) change over time.

Zoe travelers are required to follow the local and federal mandates and restrictions related to Covid-19 pandemic. These restrictions can change as the pandemic ebbs and flows; Zoe will communicate the most current requirements for your upcoming trip.

• I understand that there is a risk of catching Covid-19 during the Zoe trip.
• I understand that I must defer to the country director’s guidance regarding mask usage during the trip.
• I understand that I may be required by country/airline policy to test for Covid-19 at multiple times throughout the Zoe trip.
• I understand that healthcare facilities and treatments for Covid-19 are limited in the country of travel.
• I understand that if I test positive in country, I may be required by that country to quarantine in a designated hotel for up to 14 days at my own expense (length depends on the country’s current guidelines).
• I understand that Zoe is not liable for the financial cost of expenses during a possible quarantine, though Zoe staff will certainly be in touch throughout.
