We empower youth with the tools to never need charity again. After 3 years, Zoe participants graduate with knowledge and skills to serve them for a lifetime.
Our model delivers a 1,032% return on investment, turning donations into life-changing income for vulnerable youth in Kenya. This isn’t just aid—it’s lasting transformation.
Partners receive a name list and comprehensive digital reports on the progress of their group including video profiles, biannual country updates, and a graduation report.
Our three-year, community-based program provides vulnerable youth with tools and resources to become safe and healthy, skilled for long-term success, and supported socially and spiritually.

Frequently Asked Questions
Zoe Empowers is conscious to put money where it does the most good for the children in the program. The cost of $9,500 represents the true cost of the program. This cost is averaged out between country programs taking into account local differences in prices and exchange rates. Zoe Empowers is careful to control overhead, but does invest in overhead expenses such as audits and reports which ensure money given is being used effectively and efficiently. Please see our 990 to have a look at the effectiveness with which we steward your funds on behalf of the children.
Zoe Empowers is a Christian organization, but the program is open to all orphaned children and vulnerable youth regardless of religious belief. While Zoe Empowers is a religiously non-restrictive program, youth experience the gospel in both action and words in ways that are always inviting but never coercive. Participants are never required to hold or adopt any specific faith to join the program.
Because participants make their own religious choices, they take ownership of their faith journey. Many groups naturally incorporate prayer, worship, and sharing the gospel through acts of love in authentic and inclusive ways.
So that you may journey with your group as they complete the three-year empowerment program we provide a series of reports and updates via email. The first report, sent about four months after recruitment, contains your group’s name list and a picture of the youth heads of household and the children they are supporting.
After the first year, we will send you a “case study” video featuring a family from your group along with a written report on the first year trainings, resource distributions, and achievements.
After the second year we will share a video report from your group regarding their businesses and other accomplishments.
And after graduation will provide a summary report on your group’s accomplishments. As part of your Zoe Empowers partnership reporting, we will also provide country-specific updates every six months.
